What do tattoo artist demonstrations and a runway floorshow comprised of magicians, fire dancers, contortionists, and burlesque have in common? Silly, tattoos, of course, or at least that is what MacTarnahan’s Brewing and the Portland Art Museum is planning in conjunction with its Marking Portland tattoo exhibit.
The ADULT ONLY program (IDs will be checked!), which has two shows one at 3:00 p.m. and another at 7:00 is Saturday, July 25. Might be fun, but I’m not sure the conservative PAM crowd is ready for the Real Portlander who is both tattooed and pierced, and lives a distance from the museum’s SW site.
While there is a charge of $30 for preferred front row runway seating, my guess they will simply gentrify what is truly a Portland phenomenon.
